Illustrations are a tool, and if use correctly, can communicate complex ideas at a glance. We started by organizing our message: What are our selling points? How can we visually represent our message? We are telling a story, not reading off a dictionary.
Originally several large blocks of text, the new page will have flexible sections featuring a single image and paragraph. The goal is to improve scan-ability; the user should be able to glance at the webpage quickly and understand the general concept. Responsive design must be considered when mapping out initial layout.
My rough sketches are then finalized on Adobe Illustrator. The consensus was to have a clean and professional art style. Color palettes must match that of the Coldwell Banker Brand.
This design is simple and flexible to accommodate future changes. It communicates the core message with added personality via illustrations.
